Human rights defenders suppose that political prisoner and attorney Maxim Znak, as well as Mikalai Statkevich and Ihar Losik, have been kept in solitary confinement for a long time. There have been no letters from them; correspondence is prohibited for those held in penal isolation cells.
We have managed to get a confirmation of Maxim Znak’s conditions: the administration of the colony "Vitba-3" informed his wife Nadzeya that the political prisoner is actually kept in solitary confinement. His family hasn't received letters from Maxim for a month and a half. The last letter from him arrived on 9 February.
