On March 22, 2023, the Qualification Commission on Issues of Advocacy in the Republic of Belarus held a regular certification of Vitebsk and Minsk Regional Bar Association attorneys. As a result of the attestation the Qualification Commission has taken the following decisions:
I. Olenskaya has defended political prisoners Siarhei Tikhanouski, Raman Protasevich, Nasta Loika and Ryhor Kastusiou.
The Qualification Commission also decided on the possibility of termination of the lawyer’s licenses of:
- On the inability of attorneys I. Olenskaya. and D. Sherstnev to perform their professional duties due to their “poor expertise”.

The Qualification Commission also decided on the possibility of termination of the lawyer’s licenses of:
- S. Vopruchkov — due to the fact that he was subjected to a disciplinary sanction by way of exclusion from the Vitebsk Regional Bar Association for committing an offense incompatible with the lawyer’s title (committing acts that discredit the title of a lawyer and the Bar);
- T. Kovalevich — because of the inability to perform the attorney’s professional duties due to “poor expertise” confirmed by the decision of the Qualification Commission.
