On September 5, 2024, the Qualification Commission on Advocacy in the Republic of Belarus conducted another certification of attorneys from the Vitebsk Regional and Minsk City Bar Associations. As a result, decisions were made regarding the possibility of terminating the licenses to practice law granted to:
- Y. Morozov – Based on the decision made by the Minsk City Bar Association to expel Y. Morozov from the bar "due to the entry into legal force of a court verdict recognizing the attorney as guilty of committing an intentional crime". Our project is investigating the specifics of the charges against the attorney.
- M. Severin – "Due to the inability of the attorney to perform their professional duties as a result of insufficient qualification, confirmed by the decision of the Qualification Commission following the latest certification on August 8, 2024”.
